I’VE DONE A THING
Considering those words came from the lovely and talented Kelly Wyre, I will admit to a moment of panic. This kind of panic, in fact: Oh, God. I’m going to have to help get rid of a body!
It’s not so much the murder/accident/slip of the wrist that I was afraid of, understand. I just completely abhor digging. Seriously. Manicures are expensive.
When immediate participation became mandatory, I began searching out the other lime green bubbles on chat, just to see if any of the other support staff were online and available for emergency consultation. They were not.
So needless to say, when the name “Blaze” came up, the relief was immediate and overwhelming.
That was the day Vision Quest was born. It’s a free read, tag-team fiction that jumps off the original Blaze story. But it does that jump in ways that the story had no idea it was born for. And I love it.
